Healthwatch representatives are present in various committees of the NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) to provide constructive criticism and local insights. They participate in our Partnership Board meetings, ensuring key contacts are involved in discussions and gathering feedback for improvement. The representatives work with other partner organisations, as well as West Yorkshire Voice to gather diverse opinions.
Healthwatch leads engage with all our committee chairs to include people’s voices and feedback.
The Health Inequality Advisory Group is a new pilot group which also acts as an independent function for checking and challenging work, particularly focusing on equality, diversity and inclusion.
