Shaukat Ali Khan brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as the Global Chief Information Officer at the Aga Khan University and Hospitals in Asia, Africa and United Kingdom, where he drove digital strategies on a global scale. His background includes leadership roles at the University of Central Asia and Novo Nordisk A/S, where he led digital transformation initiatives.
In November 2025, Shaukat was formally accepted as a Fellow of BCS (The British Computer Society), The Chartered Institute for IT. This recognition is awarded to senior executives who have made sustained, significant contributions to the technology profession. Fellowship represents the highest level of professional membership within BCS and is granted following a rigorous review of leadership impact, strategic influence, and contributions to advancing digital innovation. It reflects both professional standing and a commitment to shaping the future of the IT industry.
Shaukat's international career spans over 20 years across strategic and operational IT disciplines in healthcare, educational, pharmaceutical, humanitarian, defence, and hospitality sectors in both developed and developing countries including his roles at UNICEF, Lockheed Martin, Marriott and Siemens. He holds a Master’s in computer science from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden and a certified Dynamic Manager and Leader from Harvard Business School, USA.
