The NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme has saved thousands of lives and helped us get back to a normal way of life again.
However, the fight against the virus is far from over and we are continuing to provide vaccinations for anyone who has not yet had their full course, as well as offering Autumn boosters to those at greatest risk from September. This includes care home residents, people aged 50 and over and those with conditions that put them at increased risk from the virus.
If you are eligible for a booster, you will be contacted by the NHS when it is your turn to make an appointment. As before, the oldest and most vulnerable will be called forward first with appointments for people aged 75 or over starting from 12 September.
