The NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme has saved thousands of lives and helped us get back to a normal way of life again. The latest seasonal booster offer finished on 12 February but we are continuing to offer first and second vaccinations for anyone who has not yet had their full course.

The next COVID-19 booster doses will be available later in the year and if you are eligible the NHS will contact you when it’s your turn to be vaccinated.

Booster doses are an important part of protecting yourself from COVID-19 if you're at increased risk. Like some other vaccines, levels of protection may decline over time so booster doses are offered to help you maintain strong protection from becoming seriously ill or needing to go to hospital if you catch COVID-19.
